The Beyoglu Eye Journal exhibited the second best performance. The TJO also exhibited the most extensive collaboration network and the highest FCR and RCR values, indicating its strong academic impact.Conclusion: The TJO is the leading ophthalmology journal in Türkiye, while Beyoglu Eye Journal demonstrates the second-best performance, both exhibiting high publication counts, citation metrics, and field-normalized indicators. Abstract

Objectives: This study set out to comprehensively analyze and compare the scientific impact, productivity, and collaboration networks of seven ophthalmology journals published in Türkiye, using the Dimensions, Tübitak/Ulakbim and SCImago databases.
