Abstract

Low-temperature solution-processed metal-halide perovskites, which possess exceptional optoelectronic properties, have shown promise as candidates in wearable and portable electronics. However, their practical application is hindered by several critical issues, including limitations in device performance, long-term stability, lead toxicity, and integration with other components. This review provides a comprehensive discussion on the enhancement of photodetector performance, the potential applications of perovskite photodetectors, and the challenges related to perovskite photodetectors. It aims to serve as a roadmap for advancing the practical use of perovskite photodetectors.
