Abstract
The concept of temperament, expressed as Temperament in the Unani medical system and Mizaj (Temperament) in Persian medicine, is expressed as something that liquids and similar things mix with. Temperament is an important concept that is innate and plays a role in the formation of personal and physical characteristics with the effect of the qualities of the four elements, namely heat, cold, dryness and wetness, on each other, as well as affecting disease tendencies and health. Temperament allows each individual to be recognized and classified according to their morphological, physiological and psychological characteristics. According to Persian medicine, it is stated that the basis of diseases is the deterioration and imbalance of the person's temperament. In this study, the relationship between women's health in the light of mizaj was examined. Indeed, mizaj (temperament) is an important issue to be considered in individualized treatment for the protection of women's health, and it is thought that it can shed light on practical applications such as health protection and disease prevention.
