The patient's lab results showed lactic acidosis, rhabdomyolysis, hypokalemia and hypernatremia. Symptomatic treatment as well as fluid and electrolyte replacement were initiated. By means of hemodialysis, sufficient elimination of caffeine could be achieved. Abstract
