Despite significant research, a comprehensive synthesis of its structural characteristics, activation mechanisms, regulatory pathways, and involvement in disease remains lacking. This review provides an in-depth analysis of ADAM10, focusing on its molecular structure, mechanisms of activation and regulation, and roles in normal physiology and disease, particularly cancer.
