Noise protection for external energy supply systems – Indications on necessary clarifications

In the course of the energy transition in the building sector, more and more external noise sources are being installed: Heat pumps not only for single-family homes, but also for apartment buildings and residential complexes, combined heat and power plants for larger residential or commercial complexes. As a result, complaints about noise pollution from these systems occur frequently. It is becoming apparent that the technical regulations have not yet adequately covered the corresponding tasks. This article specifies the topic with indications and proposals.
