Abstract
In article number e202400781, Hiroto Tsuyama, Keiichi Imato, and Yousuke Ooyama accomplished the development of phenazinone-based photosensitizer with 5-formyl-2-thienyl substituents. It was fond that the introduction of 5-formyl-2-thienyl substituents into phenazinone chromophore leads to bathochromic shift of photoabsorption band. The photophysical and singlet oxygen (1O2) generation properties were revealed by the kinetic and thermodynamic analyses based on the experimental results and the theoretical calculations.
