Abstract

Gallstone biliopancreatic disorders are frequent in pregnant women, given that these conditions are exacerbated by the hormonal changes of pregnancy. They present a clinical challenge with diagnostic and treatment complexities that require an individualized approach, ranging from conservative treatment to minimally invasive surgical interventions, favoring techniques without radiation exposure. Close multidisciplinary collaboration and open communication with the patient are essential to optimize care. This article highlights the «red flags» to identify to ensure timely patient management and prevent complications.
