Abstract

Cancer Therapy

In article number 2411474, Tali Ilovitsh and co-workers combine nanodroplet-mediated ultrasound surgery with checkpoint inhibition to enhance immunotherapy. Systemically injected nanodroplets accumulate in the tumor and are activated into cavitating gas bubbles using ultrasound imaging. Subsequent low-frequency ultrasound implodes the vaporized nanodroplets, inducing tumor fractionation and creating a T-cell–inflamed microenvironment. This approach integrates mechanical disruption with immune activation, addressing key barriers in solid tumor treatment.
