Abstract

Cancer Therapy

Gas-filled microbubbles, guided by antibody-receptor binding, selectively target APCs. Ultrasound pulses at the tumor site trigger microbubble oscillation and collapse, generating mechanical forces that transiently disrupt the APC membrane. This process enables efficient cytosolic delivery of STING agonists via sonoporation, bypassing endosomal barriers and enhancing intracellular drug availability for immune activation. More details can be found in article number 2416596 by Wen Jiang, Jacques Lux, and co-workers.

(Adv. Sci. 22/2025)
