Abstract

The history of research at the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS) could not be fully told without a historical account of the Unidad de Investigación Médica en Nutrición (UIMN). Narrating the memories of the UIMN from its beginnings is nothing more than a tribute to the people who for 40 years have proudly been part of it, giving meaning to its existence.
