The aim is to establish ammonia as a key technology to enhance Germany's energy sovereignty. The research focuses on developing flexible ammonia synthesis processes and robust ammonia cracking technologies with energy-efficient reactor designs and economically competitive catalysts. Additionally, innovative business models are investigated. Abstract
The significance of ammonia as a carbon-free energy carrier is increasing amid the energy transition, especially for long-distance transport.
