Abstract

Molecular imaging can noninvasively visualize molecular functional information and perform multi-dimensional evaluation, gradually becoming an important means of evaluating cardiovascular diseases and having a positive impact on the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. In current molecular imaging study, to pay attention to cardiovascular frontier basic research, to screen novel molecular imaging targets, to study novel molecular imaging probes with clinical translational potential, to intergate novel imaging technqiues to extend clincial application of molecular imaging, and to construct systemical approach to explore natural history of cardiovascular disease based on molecular imaging, are four main aspects to promote technical development and clinical translation of cardiovascular molecular imaging.
