Abstract
Vibrio harveyi is a major bacterial pathogen of marine aquatic animals causing significant economic losses in aquaculture. Here, we present the complete genomes of two pathogenic strains, VH2 (5.84 Mb, 44.99% GC) and Vhp1-sp (6.30 Mb, 44.98% GC), which encode numerous virulence factors, resistance genes, and genomic islands.
