Abstract
Recently, the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) announced an initiative to expand human-based research technologies and minimize animal use in research. Danilo Tagle, Director of the Office for Special Initiatives at the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences, shares his perspective on the upcoming changes with Cell Stem Cell.
