It is a descriptive and correlational study. It covered 479 married participants across Türkiye. The data were collected through online platforms with \"Personal Data Form\", \"Mindfulness in Marriage Scale\", \"Satisfaction of Basic Psychological Needs Scale for Married Individuals\", and \"Berkeley Emotion Expression Scale\". Number, percentage, mean, Pearson correlation analysis, simple and multiple regression analysis were used. The mean age of the participants was 37.28 ± 9.72. The study found a positive significant relationship between the score of mindfulness in marriage and the satisfaction of psychological needs. The study found a positive significant relationship between the scores of mindfulness and satisfaction of psychological needs. There was a positive correlation between the scores of emotion expression, impulse strength and the need for freedom among the sub-scales of satisfaction of psychological needs. The mindfulness score explained 34.3% of the total variance in the satisfaction of psychological needs. The multiple regression model, there was a positive relationship between mindfulness score and satisfaction of psychological needs in marriage for those who were satisfied with their marriage, who expressed their feelings to their spouses easily, who had a nuclear family, and who had a university education or higher. The study determined that the score of satisfaction of psychological needs increased as the score of mindfulness in marriage increased. It found that the total score of emotional expression increased as the freedom score of married individuals increased.
