The complexes <b>7</b>–<b>9</b> were structurally characterized. The lanthanum derivatives <b>1</b> and <b>5</b> exhibited phosphorescence at 77 K. Photoluminescence (PL) spectra of Sm (<b>2</b>, <b>7</b>) and Eu (<b>3</b>) complexes contain the bands of f-f transitions typical for the corresponding metal ion. Abstract
Herein, heteroleptic complexes [Ln(NpBO2H)3(TPPO)2(DME)]n (Ln = La (1), Sm (2), Eu (3), Yb (4)), [CpLn(NpBO2)(DME)]n (Ln = La (5), Nd (6)) and [Cp2Ln(NpBO2H)(DME)]2 (Ln = Sm (7), Er (8), Yb (9)) were synthesized using Ln[N(SiMe3)2]3 or Ln(Cp)3 as starting materials. The complexes 7–9 were structurally characterized. The lanthanum derivatives 1 and 5 exhibited phosphorescence at 77 K.
