Abstract

The structure function method is currently widely used to calculate radiative corrections to exclusive electron-positron annihilation cross sections. In this case, the accuracy of calculating the corrections decreases, since the collinear approximation that forms the basis of the method does not allow one to correctly take into account the restrictions on the kinematics of emitted photons imposed by the experimental selection of events. A modification of the method is proposed that correctly takes these limitations into account.
