This study conducts a systematic literature review of 118 articles (2003–2023) retrieved from Scopus and the Web of Science database. Through VOSViewer Software, a bibliometric analysis was conducted, with foundational articles, keywords and authors also identified. Through a bibliographic coupling and content analysis, we identify four clusters: Theories and Conceptual Frameworks, Methodological Approaches, Research Areas & Sectors and Current and Future Impacts. Our research shows a focus on the theorical aspect of IMS, rather than practical applications. Abstract
An Innovation Management System is a structured framework designed to manage innovation within organizations to achieve strategic goals. This study conducts a systematic literature review of 118 articles (2003–2023) retrieved from Scopus and the Web of Science database.
