Abstract
Ultrafine Co nanoparticles supported by hollow carbon submicron-cubes (Co@HCSs) are designed and prepared as an efficient sulfur host to accelerate polysulfide trapping and redox kinetics in Li–S batteries. As a result, the assembled Li–S battery with a Co@HCSs/S electrode can deliver superior electrochemical performance.
