Abstract
Key message: The conformational change of CDPKs stimulated by cytosolic Ca2+ influx is essential for activating RBOH-mediated ROS production. CNGCs are promising candidates for regulating cytosolic Ca2+ influx during ROS-dependent aerenchyma formation.
