Abstract

CHIK-VLP, a single dose non-live vaccine provides > 95% overall short-term seroresponse rates in robust trials in potential travellers to endemic areas with onset of sero-protection that may be as short as 8 days. Vaccination is recommended for travel to outbreak areas and for extended travel (≥6 months) to areas with CDC designated risk.
