Dyslipidemia is a condition characterized by excessive lipids in the blood plasma, including triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and decreased levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), which is generated mostly due to obesity.
