At the same time, breathing difficulty was also less in custom-made mouthguards (p<0.00001).</p><p><strong>Conclusions: </strong>Custom-made mouthguards provide superior comfort (fit and speech) compared to self-adapted alternatives, enhancing their potential for widespread adoption. Abstract
