Specificity was observed in the action of the compounds in regulating the NaCl resistance of rapeseed plants. EBL increased the content of carotenoids and superoxide dismutase and peroxidase activities in plants exposed to chloride salinization, while the EBL conjugate increased peroxidase activity only.
