Abstract

Integrated Single Rare Cell Sorting System

Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) represent a rare and heterogeneous population of cancer cells, serving as critical biomarkers for metastasis monitoring and personalized medicine. However, efficiently isolating single, high-viability CTCs from complex blood environments remains a significant challenge. In article 2414195, Wei Wang, Bei Li, Qi Wang, and co-workers present a laser-induced forward transfer-assisted microfiltration system for the high-efficiency enrichment and precise retrieval of single CTCs from whole blood. This innovative platform provides a robust and versatile tool for advancing single-CTC research.
