The analyses emphasized the distinct emission characteristics of Sm<sup>3+</sup> and Eu<sup>3+</sup>, their energy transfer mechanisms, and their potential for application in luminescent thermometry. Abstract

Coordination polymers (CPs) with Sm3+ and Eu3+ ions and thiazolo[5,4-d]thiazolate (Thz2−) ligand were synthesized by the hydrothermal method, and their luminescence properties and thermal sensitivity were investigated.
