Abstract
This research investigates carbon neutrality methods while concentrating on China's aggressive carbon neutrality targets and its renewable energy investment programs. Climate-compatible development serves as a key mechanism which enables economic development alongside sustainable goals. This study analyzes China's carbon neutrality advancement together with the analysis of how the Energy Quota Trading (EQT) program reduces energy transition risks while strengthening energy security. The research analyzes energy system spatial equality and adaptive capacity across multiple Chinese provinces from 2006 to 2020 through a large-scale provincial analysis. The research utilizes a quasi-natural experiment method combined with difference-in-difference analysis to show that energy resilience improved by 4.2 % because of decreased coal usage rates. The research benefits from thorough policy examination combined with interviews of stakeholders and quantitative computational procedures. The analysis calls for international cooperation between different sectors to handle the complex relationship between climate change mitigation and economic progress. The document offers policy recommendations that stakeholders and policymakers can use to improve the effectiveness of sustainable energy management.
