Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of green fiscal policies on the coupling coordination of urban ecological resilience and ecological efficiency. The research results indicate that: (1) Green fiscal policies significantly enhance the coupling coordination level of ecological resilience and ecological efficiency in demonstration cities. (2) Mechanism analysis shows that the role of green fiscal policy in coupling and coordinating urban ecological resilience and efficiency is mainly achieved through optimizing industrial carbon emission structure and enhancing green technology innovation. (3) Heterogeneity analysis shows that the impact of green fiscal policies on the coupling coordination of urban ecological resilience and ecological efficiency varies significantly among cities with different geographical locations, cultural industry development levels, and digital infrastructure conditions. (4) Further analysis reveals that the smaller the financial pressure on local governments, the more significant the impact of green fiscal policy on the coupling coordination of urban ecological resilience and ecological efficiency.

Energy is a multidisciplinary, international journal that publishes research and analysis in the field of energy engineering. Our aim is to become a leading peer-reviewed platform and a trusted source of information for energy-related topics. The journal covers a range of areas including mechanical engineering, thermal sciences, and energy analysis. We are particularly interested in research on energy modelling, prediction, integrated energy systems, planning, and management. Additionally, we welcome papers on energy conservation, efficiency, biomass and bioenergy, renewable energy, electricity supply and demand, energy storage, buildings, and economic and policy issues. These topics should align with our broader multidisciplinary focus.
