Abstract
RETRACTION: Y.‐Y.Ng, Y.‐C.Ho, C.‐H.Yen, S.‐S.Lee, C.‐C.Tseng, S.‐W.Wu and Y.‐H.Kuan, “,” Environmental Toxicology40, no. (2025): 524–531, https://doi.org/10.1002/tox.24383.The above article, published online on 9 August 2024 in Wiley Online Library (http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/), has been retracted by agreement between the authors; the journal Editor‐in‐Chief, April Rodd; and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed after the authors performed a re‐evaluation of the statistical analysis. This corrected analysis revealed that critical results, such as the effects on adhesion molecule expression, IκB degradation, and Akt phosphorylation, no longer achieved statistical significance. These findings directly impact the reliability of the core conclusions of the paper. Furthermore, after publication, the journal identified insufficiencies during the peer review process. Therefore, the article must be retracted.
期刊介绍:
The journal publishes in the areas of toxicity and toxicology of environmental pollutants in air, dust, sediment, soil and water, and natural toxins in the environment.Of particular interest are:
Toxic or biologically disruptive impacts of anthropogenic chemicals such as pharmaceuticals, industrial organics, agricultural chemicals, and by-products such as chlorinated compounds from water disinfection and waste incineration;
Natural toxins and their impacts;
Biotransformation and metabolism of toxigenic compounds, food chains for toxin accumulation or biodegradation;
Assays of toxicity, endocrine disruption, mutagenicity, carcinogenicity, ecosystem impact and health hazard;
Environmental and public health risk assessment, environmental guidelines, environmental policy for toxicants.
