Abstract

Ongoing efforts to discover new catalysts in coupling reactions have provided an effective toolkit for chemists over the last decades. However, metal impurities often lead to costly misinterpretations and reproducibility issues. Our guideline provides a practical roadmap for identifying true catalysts, eliminating impurity-driven errors, and ensuring reliable research outcomes. Designed primarily for handling trace metal challenges, this framework sets a new standard for robust, impurity-free catalyst discovery.
