Abstract
A new polyketide, namely fusaripotide (1), and five known compounds (2–6) were isolated from the desert-derived fungus Fusarium sp. HM84-3. Their structures were determined by detailed analysis of 1D and 2D NMR and MS data. All the isolates were evaluated for their cytotoxicity and anti-inflammatory activities. Compound 2 displayed obvious inhibitory activity against human gastric cancer cells (MGC-803) with an IC50 value of 10.38 μg/mL. Compounds 4–6 showed different degrees of anti-inflammatory activity at the concentration of 10 μg/mL with an inhibition rate range of 51.2–57.0%.
