Abstract
Crizotinib Hepatotoxicity
In article number 2414923, Peihua Luo, Hao Yan, Xiangliang Huang, and co-workers report the mechanism of crizotinib hepatotoxicity, wherein crizotinib disturbs normal lipid metabolism through accumulation of squalene epoxidase (SQLE). The liver damage caused by crizotinib is similar to persistent sunshine exposure, which causes desertification changes in the “liver land,” whereas rainfall (representing metformin and terbinafine) can prevent such alterations.
