It must be periodically inspected to know its current technical condition. This obligation falls on the installation's owner. Depending on the function of the ground electrode in the entire installation, it may be a working, protective or lightning protection earth. The choice of a measurement method depends on its function in the installation. The paper presents the results of measurements of the ground electrode resistance of a selected technical facility, performed throughout the year. Repeating the measurements multiple times in different seasons of the year was dictated by assessing the impact of environmental conditions on the results of grounding system resistance measurements. Analysis of the results performed in various environmental conditions may be the basis for recommending those performing this type of measurement to choose the appropriate method and the best date for performing the measurements.
