Abstract
The process of designing an experiment for the implementation of finishing–hardening machining of the cycloidal screw surface of a screw pump rotor using surface plastic deformation with computer controlled tooling in a single setup with shape formation is discussed. An experiment is described that confirms the efficiency of the proposed machining strategy. The results can be applied at the stage of technological preparation for the production of screw pumps.
