Abstract
We study the electronic transport through a junction of normal metal/topological superconductors. In the Random Matrix Theory (RMT) framework, the symmetric class BDI describes the electronic transport through the junction, and it is associated with a topological number . Using RMT, we describe the universal electronic properties of the junction between a normal metal and a topological superconductor. Specifically, we calculate the average conductance, shot noise power, and probability distributions. In particular, we show that the ratio between shot-noise power and conductance quantum interference corrections (“Fano factor”) changes the signal because of the effect of the topological quantum number . Numerical calculations further validate our analytical results.
