However, we have difficulty realizing the overall impact of aging and more particularly in rehabilitation. We identify here a certain number of lines of thought that it is urgent to invest in order to build a real place for geriatric rehabilitation: The role of the physiotherapists in frailty; The place of the physiotherapists in the geriatric sector; Professional posture and ageism; Dependence; Openness to other disciplinary fields; Research. Notre société vieillit et légifère autour du bien vieillir. Cependant, nous avons des difficultés à prendre conscience de l’impact global du vieillissement et plus particulièrement en rééducation.
