Therefore, the effective control of the noise of TWMP is very important for vehicle comfort performance. Based on experimental, finite element, dynamic and fluid techniques, a method for identification, analysis and optimization of TWMP booming noise under high-speed airflow is proposed in this paper. The problem frequency, the noise source and the cause of booming noise inside the vehicle are identified by amplitude-frequency characteristics analysis and modal analysis. By establishing the dynamic model of damping patch, the matching method of damping patch is proposed. The simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental results, which shows that the method is correct. Abstract
