Abstract
The NAIP/NLRC4 inflammasome plays a pivotal role in the defense against bacterial infections, with its in vivo physiological function primarily recognized as driving inflammation in immune cells. Acute lung injury (ALI) is a leading cause of mortality in sepsis.
