Purpose and methods: This mixed-method study evaluated the perceptions and challenges of Take-Home Rations (THR) among caregivers of under-3 children (n = 387) in Telangana.
Results: Despite high service delivery (93%), consumption (76%) was suboptimal due to intra-household sharing, monotony, and misconceptions.
Conclusion: Diversifying THR and strengthening behavior change communication are essential for improving THR utilization.
