Abstract

Back Cover: Multicolor mechanochromic polymer blends based on a bulk system with multiple mechanochromophores introduced into polymers with different mobilities are studied. The introduction of different mechanochromophores into segmented polyurethanes (SPU) and polycaprolactones (PCL) followed by the mixing of these polymers leeds to a series of polymer blends that show different colors during and after stretching.
