Abstract

The high-temperature compression deformation behavior of Ti−6Al−4V−0.5Mo−0.5Zr alloy was investigated at temperatures from 890 to 1030 °C and strain rates from 0.01 to 10 s−1, and the corresponding dynamic recrystallization (DRX) mechanism was revealed. The results indicate that under different deformation conditions, the intensity of flow stress oscillations varied significantly. During thermal deformation in the α + β phase region, the stress−strain curves exhibited DRX.
