Both S atoms of disulfides can be transformed into thioether products, thus improving sulfur resource utilization. Abstract
Disulfides are commonly used as alternatives of thiols; however, the full utilization of both S atoms of disulfides under TM-, oxidant/reductant-free conditions is still challenging.
