Abstract

A novel algorithm for generating multi-component, high-resolution emission inventories for air quality models (AQMs) was developed, enhancing the 0.01° spatial allocation scheme for points, lines, and surfaces based on land use, population density, and road networks. It incorporated localized chemical species allocation based on recent Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and Particulate Matter (PM) composition, along with time allocation scheme utilizing monthly and hourly non-uniformity coefficients.
