Ce cas pratique relate le dépistage d’une cataracte congénitale chez une enfant de 3 ans, grâce notamment aux images fournies par un photoscreener, ce qui a permis l’adressage en urgence à un ophtalmologiste puis la chirurgie de cette cataracte congénitale dans le délai le plus court possible.

This practical case describes the screening of a congenital cataract in a 3-year-old child, thanks in particular to the images provided by a photoscreener, which allowed emergency referral to an ophthalmologist and then surgery for this congenital cataract in the shortest possible time.
