Abstract
The Cover Feature represents the smooth intramolecular photoisomerization of quinones into diverse phenolic compounds in solution under exposure to blue light, which is represented by a “blue moon”. Given that many quinones co-occur in nature with hydroquinones and other hydroxyarenes, such a transformation allows us to anticipate the presence of these substances in natural sources through a light-induced synthesis.
