The outcomes of recent research on direct composite veneers, with an emphasis on minimally invasive cosmetic rehabilitation methods, are summarized in this narrative overview of the literature. Nevertheless, drawbacks like staining vulnerability, decreased durability, and upkeep needs highlight the necessity of cautious patient selection. Direct composite veneers are becoming more and more feasible for long-term aesthetic solutions because to recent developments in composite resins, such as nanohybrid and nanofilled technologies, which have improved their polishability, durability, and color stability.
