Abstract
This work focuses on the development of dynamic grey-box models for real-time applications. Such models can be used in systems for automated prevention of accidents in the chemical industry. The development of grey-box models for complex technological control objects is illustrated with the example of chemical absorption of CO2 by aqueous monoethanolamine solutions. It is demonstrated how a rigorous rate-based model can be used to support the development of the grey-box models. The approach is explained in detail and the results are presented in the form of a mathematical system. The outcomes of this work are applied in the development of market software tools for prevention of accidents in industry.
