The human microbiome, an intricate ecosystem of trillions of microbes residing across various body sites, significantly influences cancer, a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Recent studies have illuminated the microbiome's pivotal role in cancer development, either through direct cellular interactions or by secreting bioactive compounds such as metabolites.
