Abstract
The Cover Feature shows the fundamental forces of nature being harnessed to transform matter. Using catalysts to channel solar and electrical energy, we can convert pollutants into reusable molecules, thereby enabling a circular and carbon-neutral economy. The Review by B. Boruah and J. A. Lopez-Ruiz (DOI: 10.1002/cssc.202401714) focuses on how photo-, electro-, and photo-electrocatalytic processes degrade waste plastics into useful compounds. They also outline future research directions to advance this field.
